League Meeting 13^th August 2007

Committee Present:

Minutes:

Sports Club International gave a talk on their aspirations for the coming season

Tribute to our late President Ken Brownhill led by the General Secretary

Chairman:

· Opened the meeting and welcomed everyone

· Reminded members to sign the register

General Secretary:

· Reminded Clubs to inform their Managers they must contact their respective divisional Secretaries

· With necessary information to enable them to formulate the divisions and fixtures for the season

· Reminded Clubs who have yet to affiliate to their respective County Associations to do so or they will not be issued with fixtures for the season.

Assistant General Secretary:

· Informed the Mini Soccer Section of the size of footballs to be used

· Size 3 for under 7s and 8s Size 4 for 9, this instruction is (mandatory)

· Introduced the under 7 and under 8 divisional Secretaries

League Welfare Officer:

· Stated that under 7s and under 8s are not permitted to organise Tournaments.

· Informed the members that it is the Leagues intention to run a referees course details to follow.

Referees Secretary:

· Dave stated there would be a shortage of referees even more this season due to CRB checks.
