ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 13-06-2006

 

Committee Present:

K. Brownhill, J. Slater, W. Hedgley, A. Phillips, L. Barrett, D. Arrowsmith, N. Smith

S, Partington, N. Partington, D. Brennan, S. Williams, M. Burge

 

Apologies:      N. Jobbins

 

Presentation:

Wally made a presentation to Mrs C. Fleet for her Peters service to the League over the past 25 Years.

Ken made a presation to John Slater for his services to the League for the past 25 years.

 

MINUTES

 

League Chairman:

Opened the meeting and handed the chair to the League President.

 

League President:

Requested the treasurer to make his annual report on League Finances for 2004-2005 season

Called upon the Chairman to make his annual report for the season 2004-2005 season

Called upon the League General Secretary to make his annual report for the 2004-2005 season.

President asked for acceptance of both reports

Stood down the current committee members

Informed the members there were two nominations for committee for season 2005-2006

Asked if there were any other nominations (there were none)

Called upon the members to accept old committee plus the two new members for the season 2005-2006 (all were accepted)

Welcomed the new teams into the League

Handed the chair back to the Chairman.

 

League Chairman:

Informed the membership the commencement of the 2005-2006 season would be September 11th and stated the season would end on May 14th 2006.

Informed the members that the Referees Fee for a 11 a-a-side matches would be £20-00 and for Small Sided Matches £16-00.

Stated that the League Fees for all age groups would be £65-00 per team

Introduced the committee and their roles for the season 2005-2006

 

General Secretary:

Informed the members of the new League policy on matches that are postponed without a justifiable reason.

 

Disiciplinary:

Read out two new rule  changes and requested members to take a vote on each

Rule   

Changed Substitute Rule from 3 to 5 (this rule was carried)

Changed the Rule of the sharing of Major Trophy in Cup

 

Finals ,result will be decided on penalties if required ( this was carried)

Voiced his concern at the amount of fines that were issued in season 2004-2005

 

Assistant General Secretary:

Reminded members of the small sided section that their league meetings would be the first Monday of each month commencing in August,

 

League President:

Informed the members there would be a level one course starting in October.

 

There being no further to discuss the meeting closed at 9-00pm.
