Chairman:

Requested Secretary to read minutes of previous AGM 2006

Gave his report on the Balance Sheet for season 2006-2007

Handed meeting over to L. Barrett Assistant Secretary

Assistant Secretary:

Requested Chairman to give his end of season report

Asked that the report be accepted this was accepted

Requested General secretary to give his report for the end of season

Asked that the report be accepted this was accepted

Stood down the current committee

Asked members if there were any nominations for committee

As no nominations were forthcoming the current committee were once again elected for another season.

Put forward the two rule proposals which had been put forward.

1.      Change the current match report form from a dual form to individual forms for each team. (Proposed by Mahal FC)

Voting on this issue was as follows For 79 Against 37 the proposal was carried.

 

2.      Number to be shown on the back of shirts (Proposed by Derek Brennan)

Voting on this issue was as follows For 93 Against 23 the proposal was carried.

 

3.      Handed the meeting back to the Chairman.

 

 

 

 

New Meeting:

Chairman opened the new meeting and introduced the committee for season 2007-2008

Assistant General Secretary:

Explained the new directive which had been received from the Football Association which affects the Small Sided Section.

Promised a format for the introduction of this directive will be issued at the Small Sided meeting in August.

Child Welfare Officer:

Was disappointed at the disciplinary attitudes by some members of the League during the 2006-2007 season.

Informed the members of two cases where clubs had been fined £500-00 for child protection infringement of rules.

 

There being no further business to discuss the meeting closed at 9-25pm.

Alan informed the members that there were 700 teams for season 2007-2008

Informed the members of teams who had not registered and also fines that were outstanding.
